What books do I receive?

You will receive:

the book "C++ Primer, 3rd edition" by Stanley Lippman and Josee Lajoie.
a book containing copies of all the instructor's slides.

What does the course cover?

The course covers introductory topics in C++.

Are there lab exercises?

Most chapters contain a lab exercise. The labs occupy more than 50% of the total course time.

What will I learn?

You will learn how to create C++ programs.

How long is the course?

Five (5) days.

What are the prerequisites?

You must have:

one year of programming experience using a modern programming language

NOTE: Students whose only experience is with COBOL or with scripting languages (e.g. HTML, XML, JavaScript) should first take an introductory course in C before taking a course in C++.
