The performers

Kelly Riley is an award-winning singer-songwriter, accomplished multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, ukulele, piano) and Berklee College of Music Alum. Kelly has shared the stage with many notable musicians, including: Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, and Patty Griffin. Many of her songs have been featured nationally and internationally on TV programs and commercials. Ms. Riley has performed throughout the US and has two CDs of original music to her credit: "County Line" and "Live and You Learn". Kelly's original compositions and cover song choices are influenced by her love of Folk-Rock, Country, and Blues. Kelly draws inspiration from many of the greats in those genres, including: Bonnie Raitt, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, Sheryl Crow, Linda Ronstadt, and Eva Cassidy.

Michael Bean (dobro/mandolin/guitar) is an in-demand multi-instrumentalist in the Greater Boston area and played dobro on Kelly's CD, County Line. He performs regularly in the Boston Bluegrass scene and Americana/roots scene, and can be seen and heard with songwriters Frank Drake, Susan Cattaneo, Tom Hagerty, Ethan Robbins (Cold Chocolate), and bands such as The Bagboys, Alan Kaufman's Joint Chiefs Of Retrograss, and True Life Bluegrass. Here is Michael's web site.

Paul Dilley (bass) has been playing bass in the Boston music scene since moving from his native Philadelphia to attend Berklee college of music from 2000-2004. He has toured with several Boston-based acts in the past decade including Beat Circus, HUMANWINE, Miss Tess, and is currently playing around 200 shows a year with 7 time Boston Music award winners Girls Guns and Glory. Paul stays busy when he's not on the road with a variety of local acts playing everything from bluegrass to straight ahead jazz.

Liz Cook (guitar/vocals) is a singer-songwriter who brings a mature sensibility to her melodies and delivers her songs with a deeply personal, powerfully resonant voice. Liz's songs are vivid, moving, and often ecstatic celebrations of life. Liz hails from Boston, MA, where her relatively young performing career has already seen her at top venues such as Club Passim, Johnny D's and the Lizard Lounge, and has included opening acts for Catie Curtis, Nervous But Excited, Amy Correia, Aztec Two Step, and many others. Liz is currently working on her first album. Here is Liz's web site.

John Bumstead (cello) is an active freelance musician who performs regularly with Symphony by the Sea, North Shore Music Theatre and is a member of Boston based Due Celli and Quartet For-Te. John co-founded the New England String Ensemble and was a 17-year member of its cello section. He is a chamber music coach for several summer programs, including the Summer String Festival at Endicott College. His music education includes undergraduate studies at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory in Ohio and Manhattan School of Music. He has a Master of Music degree from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.

Ron Wilhelmsen (harmonica) is a self taught musician with a natural artistic flair and a soulful delivery. Born and raised in New York City, he has called Boston home since 1998. Ron has been playing harmonica for ten years and enjoys every moment. He has performed with a number of singer songwriters in the Boston area, including the award winning singer-songwriter, Amy Correia and previously, the Kelly Riley Band. Ron is thrilled to be collaborating with Kelly once again.

Gay H. Sheldon (vocals) is singer and songwriter who enjoys and performs a multitude of styles, including alternative rock, country, Americana, folk, and blues. Gay's debut CD, "Souvenirs", is a colorful and moving collection of original songs and was recorded with her band, Helenagay.
